About Maggie's Monster

Monster is one of Maggie’s Centres flagship fundraising events, a key date for many Maggie’s supporters. An average of 1,000 people – participants and support teams - have come every year to the beautiful Scottish Highlands to bike and hike and raise much needed funds for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.

2012 will be the event’s 9th year. In its first eight years it has raised over £4.2m and over 5,400 people have taken part.

Many participants return two, three or even four times to reach a new stage on the Monster route or to better their time in the previous years.
